This is the standard "movable" blues/rock n roll riff for guitar. It can be based off a power chord shape or open chord as shown. While the example in the video is in A, this riff can be played from any root note.
Get creative:
try this riff from different chords to see if you can make your own "bluesy" sounding idea.
Application:
- Apply this riff to the standard 12 bar blues form.
